A day with Pierre Oteiza
In the Aldudes valley, Pierre Oteiza, breeder and cured ham maker, invites you to discover Basque pork. The pork, of Iberian stock, produces a dark red flesh, marbled and tender to perfection; its taste in the mouth is powerful and inimitable. Its subtle flavours of hazelnut, fresh butter and the forest characterise KINTOA AOP dry ham.You’re invited to stroll on the educational trail and enjoy the local fauna and flora, observe the vultures and meet the black-headed Manech sheep.
An hour of total freedom, on foot or on the back of a donkey, to enjoy the fresh air, admire the landscape and breathe in the calm. And to better understand the influence of such a setting on the quality of the products, what could be better than an enlightened tasting? For the biggest food lovers, “discovery” dishes with KINTOA ham, different jésus and other sausages and pork products are available to satisfy your gourmet curiosity.
